The latest musical sensation to come out of Brazil – Copacabana Club!

The band, a four-piece from Curitiba, Southern Brazil, have been together for a number of years and in that time have made not so much of a “splashâ€, as what can only be perceived as the beginnings of a tidal wave permeating outwards fro Curitiba!
Following on from very early performances while the band was still finding its feet, one of the main Brazilian newspapers, Folha de Sao Paulo, gave them rave reviews and they were instantly elevated to front cover status. This sort of exposure is like gold dust and propelled the fivesome into the limelight and a string of high profile performances as well as a lucrative and mutually beneficial use of the track “Just Do It†by Levi’s Music for a sponsorship deal, which included the production of a video.
From here on in the web and press reviews started to flood in, with an overwhelming sense of national pride and excitement for the new sweethearts of Brazilian Pop Rock. With a four track EP recorded and on the digital shelves, it was only a matter of time before more quality musical content followed, and the King Of The Night EP was released through MySpace in April 2008, with the independently released physical version coming later that year.
Now, with management on both sides of the Atlantic pushing the band forward, the plan is simple; chase the dream and not the competition. Plans are in place for for audio content and embarkation on a global tour is imminent.
